About Blog

Book Worm Soul was started by a literature loving aspiring-writer and joined by two all-round fellow book lovers. The two current contributors are each based in their home town with their shares of holding varying post subtopics.

On the time being, we have 5 frequent post subtopics of the following:

A Bowl For the Soul

Book (incl. literatures, stories, authors) discussion ranging from fiction to non-fiction, romance to fantasy, and all kind of genres will be included as our blog expands. This subtopic vary in length as at times it might be the longest post or the shortest. However, it will cover as the most detailed review with synopsis of the story, occasional spoilers, memorable quotes, our opinions and experience while reading the book, and present news about the movie adaptation development.

Bookworm Buzz

Usually consisting of interviews and Q&A session with authors and publishers. We love to learn more about the people behind a great book and here's our chance to connect with them. Guest post and blog hops are also featured under this subtopic.

Casting Calls

Imaginary casting of our favourite book- if it is adapted into a movie. We choose a character and discuss about who we'll cast; with physical resemblance, acting skills, and character suitability are considered. Fans casting will be included with a final note of our choice of actor or actress to star as the said character.

Film Delicacy

This is a review about a released movie adaptation from a book. Nowadays, it has been an ongoing trend for Hollywood to secure movie rights for bestselling stories. We'll be dissecting the film from head to start and give comparisons with the book. Casting, characters, acting skills, the storyline, soundtracks, and overall quality of the movie are in this subtopic.

Paper to Motion Picture

It will be thoughts along with news about movie adaptation production, casting, shooting progress. It will feature mostly an upcoming movie with a few opinions here and there regarding the cast, director, even theatrical poster. Updates for this sub-topic will switch back and forth between all contributors.

We welcome you to our blog and hope to enrich more readers,
