Blog & Review Policy

All discussions in our posts are our opinions unless stated otherwise. All views are our own and do not reflect those of the author, or tour companies/host we work with. Please note that the team of Book Worm Soul has a day occupation and blogging is a hobby. Therefore, we will arrange review schedules according to the best of our capabilities. If there is a possible delay to a review request we had agreed to, we will let you know as soon as possible with our sincerest apologies.

WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING REVIEW REQUEST AT THE TIME BEING, UNLESS WE HAVE RESPONDED TO YOUR REQUEST BEFORE THIS NOTICE. 


General information

We are currently accepting most book genres for review. You can send emails to donaciellaropait[at]gmail[dot]com. Other than review request such as author guest post or other requests, please send emails to our editor nicolelatip[at]yahoo[dot]com. 

To submit a book review request, please provide: 

Book Title

Book genre

Publisher 

Description of your book (preferably with link to Goodreads or Amazon)

Book Cover

Preferred month or date for the review

Note: Please refer to Genres section for further details on what book genres we don't accept.


Formats


We accept ARCs, audiobooks and ebooks in PDF format. If the book is a part of a series, then I may need the previous books. If you are requesting an audiobook review, then I will require a PDF copy of the book as well (unless I have already reviewed the print version). In the case of audiobooks, there will be two reviews: one for the story, and another reviewing the reader/audio performance.

We are NOT accepting e-books in forms of Kindle or Nook gift, or interactive media books at this time.

Genres

We do not accept books in the following genres:

Erotica

Children's book

Poetry

Overtly religious preaches (religious or spiritual values are fine)

Review requests for these books will not receive a reply.




Accepting Books


If we accept a book for review, that does not guarantee a review, but it does guarantee a mention through a "Books We Got" post. We will be in touch with you again once we started to review your book and inform you of the posting date.

We will make every effort to read and review in a timely fashion and with regard to release dates, but we cannot guarantee this. We prefer to receive a book 3-4 months prior to when you would like the review posted.


We respect and appreciate every author's and/or publisher's work. Copies of books and ARCs we receive will never be sold.

Please note: We schedule our posts months in advance (that is, if you contact us in January, the odds are slim to none that we will have an opening available for you in February). 


Reviews


We will write a review for almost every book we finish. Many reviews will also be posted on Goodreads, though not all and they may be modified. Our reviews are written in a relaxed manner reminiscent of a conversation among friends. They are not meant to be objective literary critiques. 

We write fair and honest reviews, but this does not mean we will always write positive reviews. Our reviews are our opinion, and if we don’t enjoy a book then our review will reflect that.
With that said, we strive to explain why the book in question did not work for me personally. We do NOT write nasty or snarky commentary about the author.

A reviewer notes (text in white colour) will
 be included in the end of reviews we posted for books given to us in exchange for an honest review. 

Author Guest Posts and Interviews


We are happy to host authors on Book Worm Soul! We are not currently accepting "form" guest posts where the content has already been posted on other blogs. 

If you would like to be featured on Book Worm Soul, please email us with the following information:

•  Your name and the name of your book
• A brief description of your book (or link to Goodreads)
• Do you prefer a guest post or an interview? Will you provide a topic/questions or would you like me to? *
• The month/date you would like to be featured**
• If you would like to include a giveaway

*Please note: If we have not read your book yet and you are coming up with your own guest post topic, then we prefer, but do not require, you send me a copy of your book.
If we have not read your book yet and we are coming up with the guest post topic or interview questions, then we require a copy of your book and 3-4 months advance time to read your book.

Request to Host Us On Your Blog

Thank you for your interest! We are honored, but unfortunately our schedule does not currently allow for us to write guest posts. We are happy to participate in an interview, however.
